Eric Patrick Goodson

27 year old Eric Patrick Goodson of Smithville died Friday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was a CNA and a Baptist. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Dan Gulley and Steve Breedlove will officiate and burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas Clyde and Mildred Loette Green Allmon; a brother, Thomas Darrell Goodson; a step-sister, Brenda Fay Campbell; and an uncle, David Allmon. Survivors include his mother, Mary Louise Allmon Goodson Campbell of Alexandria. His step-father, Triman Campbell of Alexandria. A brother, Kenneth Dwayne Goodson of Alexandria. Step-sisters, Stacey Campbell of McMinnville and Sandra Campbell Baker of Murfreesboro. Aunts, Johnnie Mai Allmon and Joyce Dean Poss both of Smithville, and Patricia Allmon of Alexandria. An uncle, Joe and his wife Charlene Allmon of Gladeville. Several great aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews, and cousins also survive along with special friends, Amanda Ford and Matthew Martin. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that donations be made to help with funeral expenses, in lieu of flowers.
