Timothy Lynn Green

48 year old Timothy Lynn Green of Dowelltown died Wednesday at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a Baptist and self-employed. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Virgil Hibdon, Jr. and Larry Campbell will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Green; a nephew, Shawn Northcutt; and a niece, Kristy Culwell. Survivors include his mother, Mildred Green of Dowelltown. Companion, Pam Davenport of Smithville. Brothers and sisters, Danny and his wife Pauline Green of Smithville, Cathy and her husband Butch Northcutt of McMinnville, Stevie and his wife Barbara Green of Smithville, Marilyn Strayn of Smithville, Anthony Green of Dowelltown, and Sandy Stone of Smithville. Nephews and nieces, Ray Culwell, John Houston, Sara, Emily, and Amber Northcutt, John Strayn, Sabrina Tettleton, Amanda, Hannah, and Steven Green, Josh, Hunter, Tyler, and Taylor Stone. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
