Marvin T. Naive, Jr.

88 year old Marvin T. Naive, Jr. of Brentwood died Sunday at NHC of Smithville. A memorial service will be Thursday at noon at the United Methodist Church of Brentwood, where he was a member. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at noon. at the church. He was a salesperson/entrepreneur; a Mason, member of the National Geographic Society, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the Boonesboro Society. Naive was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Thomas, Sr. and Sara Naive; a son; a daughter; and a sister. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jewel Naive of Brentwood. A son, Thomas and his wife Kathy Naive of Smithville. Seven grandchildren. Six great grandchildren. One brother, Jim and wife Nell Naive of Montgomery, Alabama. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that donations be made to the Webb House at 115 Jennings Lane, Smithville in lieu of flowers.
