Louise “Mama Lou” Christian Frazier

85 year old Louise “Mama Lou” Christian Frazier of Smithville died Thursday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a Pentecost and a floor supervisor in a factory. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Charles Braswell and Donald Owens will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from noon until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Alpha Cripps Bain; her first husband, Carlon Christian; brothers, Samuel, Charles, Creston, and Boyd Bain; mother and father-in-law, Hobert and Beulah Christian; step-daughter, Margaret Pack; and a step-son Eddie B. Frazier. Survivors include her husband, Edsel Frazier of Smithville. A daughter, Linda Stone of Cookeville. Granddaughters, Renee Johnson, Kendra and husband Rick Guinn, Melanie and husband John Crews, and Amanda and husband John Dakas all of Smithville. Grandsons, Bryan Malone of Atlanta, Georgia, Jason and wife Janella Pack of Christiana. Great grandchildren, Macy Felts, Mackenley Turner, Nickolas Agee, Trey and Elizabeth Guinn, Chloe and Logan Pack, and Andrew and Annabella Dakas. Three sisters, Elizabeth and husband Charles Braswell of Ringgold, Georgia, Martha and husband Charles Preston of Smithville and Billie Bates of Paducah, Kentucky. Sisters-in-law, Mary Bain Colwell of Smithville and Claudia Bain of Westland, Michigan. her former son-in-law, Ernest Stone and son-in-law, Donnie Pack. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edward and Frances Frazier of Smithville. Sister-in-law, Adaleen Frazier of Sparta. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews and caregivers Brenda and Steve Cripps. The family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice or to the Children’s Ministry at the Edge Worship Center, in lieu of flowers. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
