Fowler “Stoney” Ramsey

45 year old Fowler “Stoney” Ramsey of Smithville died Tuesday at his residence. He worked in the past as a welder at Tenneco Automotive. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Al Mahan will officiate and burial will be in the Boma Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from noon until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Ramsey was preceded in death by his parents, Fowler and Anna Bell Ramsey; a son, Barry Lee Stone Ramsey; and a sister, Kathy Marie Bilbrey. Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Lynn Madwell and a grandchild, Larissa Page both of Baxter. A sister, Janie and husband Ricky Fults of Liberty. Faithful companion, Samanda Armour of Smithville. Two nieces, Virginia and husband Robert Oaks of Centertown and Michaela Murphy and Cody Bilbrey of Smithville. Two nephews, Brandon Maynard and Jessica Brown of Brush Creek and Wesley Fults and Shannon Stembridge of Liberty. Close friend, Terry Maynard of Nashville. Four great nephews and two great nieces. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In addition to flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Alive Hospice.
