42 year old David Wayne Murphy of Smithville died Sunday at River Park Hospital in McMinnville. He was a farmer. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Cannady Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Author Lee and Kathleen Crook Murphy and brothers, Jeff and Ralph Murphy. Survivors include three daughters, Jessica Hubbard and Christina Murphy both of Smithville, and Stephanie Murphy of Jamestown. Two sisters, Anna Faye Baker of Walling and Kathy Murphy of Shelbyville. Four brothers, James, Harold, and Ricky Murphy all of Smithville, and Kenneth Murphy of Florida. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
