Curtis Marie Kocis

82 year old Curtis Marie Kocis of Rock Island died Friday at Riverside Hospital. She was a Catholic and a hair dresser. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Peeled Chestnut Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from noon until the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Lawson Hutchings and Lucinda Adcock Hutchins; brothers, Gene, John, Donald, and Frank Hutchings; sister, Lana Scott; brother-in-law, Howard Stafford. Survivors include her husband, Bernard Kocis of Rock Island. One sister, Janice Stafford of Sparta. Great aunt, Jeffy Turner of Sparta. Nephews, Ronald Hutchings of Murfreesboro and Mark Hutchings. Nieces, Tyra Rodgers of Sparta, Angie Haber, Tena Harrell, Diana Moore, and Mary Ann Doty of New York. Three great nieces, Taylor, Megan, and Ashley Rogers. Sister-in-law, Marie Meirers.
