Lucille Medley Fuson

91 year old Lucille Medley Fuson of the Lucky Community of Warren County died Wednesday at River Park Hospital. She was born in DeKalb County, was a homemaker, and the oldest charter member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Fuson was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Columbus and Pearl Sypert Medley; her husband, Willie J. “Bill” Fuson; a daughter, Dolly Rose Fuson; sisters, Eula Mathis, Bula Maggart, and Ruth Moulton; brothers, Robert Medley, Howard Medley, Floyd Medley, Alfred Medley, and Buster Medley; and a great great grandson, Ethan Foster. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Billie and Clarence Foster of McMinnville and Deane and Don Crowder of Murfreesboro. Brothers, Joe Medley of Baxter, Kenneth Jared Medley of Smithville, and Gerald Ray Medley of Shelbyville. Grandchildren, Dwayne Foster, Chris Foster, Leigh Anne Steiner, Jarred Foster, Kip Crowder, and Captain Kellye Crowder. Eleven great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, and special caregiver, Darnell Fuson. The funeral will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church. Jerry Smith will officiate and burial will be in the Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church. McMinnville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
