Caidyn Michael Brawner, the two month old infant of Jason Randall Melin and Amy Elizabeth Brawner of Hermitage, died Thursday at his residence. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Walter Hill Baptist Church. Michael Hale will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. In addition to his parents, the child is survived by a brother, Matthew Daniel Stripling of Hermitage. A sister, Cierra Skye Witty of Cannon County. Grandparents, Terri and Dale Witty of Cannon County, Claude Brawner, Jr. of Lebanon, and Troy and Cindy Melin of Mount Juliet. Great grandparents, Lloyd and Judy Melin of Mount Juliet, Elsie Ethridge of Madison, Claude Brawner, Sr. of Lebanon, Charles and Sue Parham of Murfreesboro, and Judy and Robin Pitts of Murfreesboro. An aunt, Melinda Melin of Hermitage and an uncle, Matt Parham of Murfreesboro. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
